DAAAAMNNNN! Where love was sinful is a tangled love story. I loved the cover so much that i bought this book immediately without even reading the blurb, thinking how tangled the story can be. I bought this book from @rachnayeofficial It’s a story full of sins, the most horrifying combination of desire, money and hatred. To begin with, there are a lot of mystery events taking place, narrations from both the present and the past too. Each page and every section is a display of powerful emotional punches. The book revolves around the mystery that Maya, shaman’s wife hold within her and is paranoid as someone in their family knows about it. And one by one members of the family start dropping dead. The thrill and the curiosity to find out what happens next increases gradually as we get deep into the story. The book is fast paced for there is a lot happening and lots of characters to keep up with. To be honest I had to stop after each chapter and had to analyse what was going on. The way the author built up the suspense and thrill throughout the read was truly commendable. Through this story we can also see that what power does to people. How many relations will be spoiled and how many innocent lives will be damaged in the tangled love on the battlefield of sinners in the name of honor, power and revenge. The book slowly unfolds into something very dark and a vast majority of people will not be able to guess what it is, the book has a very tight grip over the reader’s attention and is very crisp till the very end. Outstanding work! Definitely recommend to mystery lovers specially.

The book "Where Love Was Sinful" is a wonderful blend of action, thrill, romance, and psychedelia, authored by Chirashree Bose. Maya has a huge degree of mystery with her, as her name would imply. While the other character, Shaaman has a gloomy personality. The author did a good job of building the characters despite the fact that it was crucial to the plot. Throughout the entire book, the plot is unpredictable. This piece truly crosses several genres, yet Chirashree kept everything in balance. This book depicts the violently played game of love, hate, power, possession, greed, retaliation, and other emotions. Chirashree weaved every angle with elegance and humour. Lastly, the book was delivered in its best quality. Packed and delivered well. Cheers to Rachnaye!
