"1 मई 1834 को जनमे दाजी पणशीकर (मूल नाम नहरिविष्णु शास्त्री) ने औपचारिक स्कूली शिक्षा के बाद व्याकरणाचार्य पिताश्री विष्णु शास्त्री से घर में ही वेदों की शिक्षा, साथ ही पं. श्रीपादशास्त्री किंजवडेकर से संत साहित्य एवं उपासना शास्त्र की विधिवत् शिक्षा ग्रहण की। प्रमुख संपादित ग्रंथ हैं : ‘एकनाथांचे भावार्थ रामायण-2 खंड’ जिसके दस संस्करण निकल चुके हैं। ‘श्रीनाथांचे आठ ग्रंथ’; प्रमुख टीका ग्रंथ : ‘कर्ण खरा कोण होता?’, ‘महाभारत एक सूडाचा प्रवास’, ‘कथामृत’। इनके अलावा कपटनीति, शब्दोत्सव आदि सात पुस्तकें भी लिखीं। गोवा, महाराष्ट्र, कर्नाटक, गुजरात, मध्य प्रदेश, दिल्ली तथा विदेशों में अब तक लगभग 1800 व्याख्यान संपन्न। मराठी अखबारों में स्तंभ-लेखन।"
